4. Real profit / loss after charges and tax
Your broker’s commission, tax on that commission and capital gains tax all come out of your profit. Change the rates to match your broker.
Estimate only. Brokerage rates differ by broker (some charge a minimum per share). Capital gains tax is worked out by NCCPL on your overall net gains and collected through your broker; 15% applies to tax filers on shares bought from 1 July 2024. Non-filers pay more. See our PSX tax guide.
5. Dividend yield calculator
PSX companies announce dividends as a percentage of face value. Turn that into rupees per share and a yield on today’s price.
Most PSX shares have a face value of Rs 10, but some have Rs 5 or Rs 1, so check. Add up all payouts in a year (interim + final) for the yearly yield. See the latest announcements on our dividends & book closures page.
6. Fibonacci retracement levels
Enter the high and low of a move to get the common Fibonacci levels traders watch.
A calculator tells you the numbers. The course tells you where to put them.
Where should the stop loss go? Is that target realistic? Our Urdu technical analysis course teaches you to find entry, stop loss and target levels on the chart, and how to manage risk across all your trades.
